Internship
As this has been my first
trimester at Johnson & Wales University, I am yet to really learn of my
options for the Internship/Study Abroad electives. Based on what I have found
out so far, I would actually not be able to receive the full 13.5 credits as I
only am in need of 9 more elective credits after my transfer from University
College of the Cayman Islands.
However, if
possible, I plan to fulfill my internship in the summer of 2015, or the spring
semester of 2016 in the Cayman Islands. I am going to apply for this in January
of 2015 to ensure that I am able to do so, and if not, to learn of my options
in advance. I would like to work in the marketing department of Dart Realty
(Cayman) Ltd to gain first hand experience in the marketing field. I chose this
location because I have worked for Dart Realty (Cayman) Ltd previously, though
I was in the Property Management Finance department, I have seen how well the
Marketing department performs and would like to learn from them. I think it would be very beneficial to me for when I start my own business.
